Nitish Kumar And Narendra Modi

Nitish Kumar Bihar CM and Sharad Yadav JD U head have suggested BJP to declare that they will not project Modi as PM candidate. Earlier that had put an ultimatum to BJP to declare their PM candidate, they had put ban on Modi coming to Bihar, declare Advani as PM candidate and so on....... These all conditions exhibit the dictatorial attitude of Nitish Kumar, his supporters and his party JD U .

It is the absolutely the prerogative of elected Members of Parliament of majority group to choose their leader. Leaders of JD U are not directly taking the name of Nitish Kumar for the post of PM but trying to put hurdle on the way of Modi who is found to be the most popular leaders in all pre- poll surveys. This is nothing but a 'Dog in the monger' policy adopted by Nitish Kumar and his party.

If democratic principles and the procedure for selection of persons for the post of Prime Minister envisaged in Constitution of India have to be believed, the elected members of Parliament convene a meeting and propose the name of person suitable for the post of PM and that person may not necessarily be a MP, even a MP from Rajya Sabha or even a public figure who has never contested any election may be picked up for the post who will be bound to win an election for MP in next six months.

It will not be an exaggeration to say that it is the victory of anti -BJP campaign launched by Congress Party through TV media. Media men never built pressure on leaders of  Congress Party or on propagators of so called third front to declare their candidate for the post of PM.

It is the ego of Nitish Kumar swayed away by media propaganda that he is insisting the name of person for the post of PM one year before the actual election .It proves that elected MLA s of JD U believes in personality of Nitish Kumar just as leaders of Congress Party believes in Sonia Gandhi. He and his followers do not have any faith in principles and ideals laid down in Constitution.

God knows what will happen to JD U leaders, if BJP puts a condition before leaders of JD U that they should declare that they will not choose Nitish Kumar as CM in next election and give an opportunity to Sushil Modi to become CM of Bihar.

Will Nitish put a condition before UPA that they will not project scam master Manmohan Singh as PM’s candidate for 2014 election?

Will he ensure that inexperienced leader like Rahul Gandhi is stopped from being picked up or pushed  up for the post of PM after 2014 election verdict?

Will Nitish Kumar accept any condition put forward by BJP in selection of party campaigner or that for assembly seat or for the post of CM?

God knows what will happen if leaders of opposition parties demand that Congress party gives a declaration that they will choose any person for the post of PM who were directly or indirectly involved in anti Sikh riot of 1984

God knows what will happen if media men launch a campaign to build pressure on leaders who are projecting formation of third front to declare their common manifesto and common leader for the post of Prime Minister.

God knows what will happen if unbiased media men build pressure on Congress party and other allies of UPA to declare the name of Person for the post of PM , whether he will be Rahul Gandhi or Manmohan Singh or Mr. Chidambaram or someone else.

Last but not the least, Mr. Nitish Kumar had not won last two state assembly elections on the issue of secularism but definitely and undoubtedly  had won the last election due to public anger against Lalu Raj and that against misrule of Congress Party at center. Besides he had won the election with the help of BJP votes in many constituencies and voters of Bihar had a dream of getting rid of Lalu rule and not so called secularism of Nitish and his party.

If Lalu Yadav come back to power taking the support of corrupt Congress Party in Bihar and in turn Congress Party comes to power at national level due to multi party contest in the next election after the split of votes in BJP and JDU, entire blame will be on the head of Nitish Kumar and Sharad Yadav who are currently playing drama on secular card to keep Modi from the field. He will be abused by common men who are sincerely interest to get rid of misrule of UPA.

I am still hopeful that nationalist leaders of the country will make all efforts to keep Congress Party away from power. If NON –BJP leaders are all secular and they really want to keep so called communal BJP party away from power they should form a new party to give a one to one fight to BJP candidate in all constituencies so that nation may not suffer from coalition compulsion and common men do not become victim of paralysis ridden government headed by person like Manmohan Singh.

Voters  and common men are worried about growing unemployment, ever rising pain of price rise and large scale corruption allowed by UPA government and I think most of opposing political parties understands this bitter truth. It is painful that Still political parties project secular card to fool voters.

India want growth and development but politicians are bent upon winning the election by applying divisive tactics.Indian want safety and security from naxal and terror attack. They want water, electricity , food and medical amenities available with comfort but politicians keep them divided on the basis of caste and community. Politicians are supposed to  take care of their country and treat their voters uniformly but unfortunately UPA has cheated the country on both fronts.

I am still confident that person like Nitish Kumar and Advani who are competent enough to ensure growth and development for the country and who can make the image of the country shining will not ditch common men to serve their personal ego and their self interest.

People of India are more interested in growth, development, prosperity and availability of their daily need goods and services at comfort without any hassle or any bribe. They are least bothered whether a leader is secular as defined by political entities. Voters also understand the real character of all so called secular leaders who have been making so many promises for welfare of Muslims but who have done almost nothing for them as long as they remained in power. On the other, Modi says little but do more. This is the difference. Nitish is nowhere near Modi so far as national level popularity is concerned. And hence BJP should not bow down before Nitish for his childish rigidity on a non-issue , on a matter for which he should not bother and which is totally a prerogative of BJP .

  2. Seventeen years old relation between BJP and JDU is going to be sour and going to break. The most disturbing is that the breaking of relation is on a matter which should not have been an issue at all to decide the continuance of relation between two political parties.

Performance is insignificant for politicians, personal ego of their leader is much more important.Voters are not that much important for politicians as their continuance in power is.

The moist unfortunate is that even Media men are least bothered of what will be good or bad for the country. media men are puppet in the hands of some or the other political force.

Foreign countries will also ridicule at Indian politicians that Indian leaders are either indulged in scam or engaged in dirty politics based on caste and community.

  3. Clever leaders of Congress Party succeeded in breaking relation of JMM and BJP by assuring their support to JMM leaders in formation of government in the state of Jharkhand. For last six months leaders of JMM are standing with begging bowls in front of office of Congress Party High Command and very soon they are likely to be awarded with kick or embracing. Let us see what happens.

However leaders of JD U should at least take a lesson from this episode before having any dream plan of joining hands with Congress Party.

Culture of corruption and that of flattery to High command Sonia Gandhi will never suit like person like Nitish Kumar. Any wise person or political party will not like to associate with scam ridden Congress Party . Any political party deciding to shake hands with Congress Party will commit the greatest blunder and prove to be suicidal attempt.

Majority of Indian citizen are now anti-congress party and no more interested in voting them to power . As such any one who board on this sinking boat will sink along with boat.

  4. Danendra Sir,
    Great article as always.
The major problem i think is not with the Government. Because i truly believe in the definition of Democracy, By the people, for the people and of the people.
What we are we will get that only.
Do you really think Sir, less 20% minority has the power to change the fate of India, where all parties are running after them for their votes. THE PROBLEM IS NOT WITH MINORITY. IT IS WITH MAJORITY.
    With people like us.
Firstly we all are divided in the name of religion, caste, Sub- caste, Then Region wise and lastly we are divided in our family also. In 21 st century we have hardly seen a family where all brothers or Parents and children live together. Everyone wants to live alone, not together. So why to blame UPA or JDU , they are just opportunist as we our.
The day Indian's get united they will vote for a Party or person who is capable. But who will change our mindset.
When i was young an Advertise always shown on Doodarshan.
"Anyone can break a single piece of woodstick, but no one can break a Bunch of them" Very Very simple message, but we all failed to understand. This is our fate.
If Congress comes to power again with help of all these pathetic parties. My future option will be to move to state like Gujarat or if i get oppurtunity to a foreign land to secure future of my children.
    Comman Man.
